Rachael Schultz


Since making aliyah in 2002, Rachael has served as a Jewish educator in a variety of formal and informal frameworks.  She taught Bible, Jewish Philosophy, and Talmud at the Gandel Institute for Adult Jewish Learning, the Institute for Jewish Studies (Makhon la-Limudei Yehadut), and the Pardes Institute. She also served as a Senior Educator at the Nesiya Institute and the Galilee Institute for Value Education, developing and facilitating educational programs integrating creative Jewish text study, community service, and touring Israel. In New York, she taught Bible, Talmud, and Jewish Philosophy at the Abraham Joshua Heschel High School and the Drisha Institute.  Rachael has a B.A. from Harvard in the Study of Religion, and an M.A. from Hebrew University in Jewish Studies.  She lives with her husband and son in Moreshet, a beautiful community in the Lower Galilee. Rachael is excited to be part of JETS, connecting with students around the world.
