Michal Lashansky


Michal has been a Jewish educator in both formal and informal settings for 8 years. She grew up in Melbourne, Australia, where she was an active member of Bnei Akiva, and a vital contributor to the Kollel Torah MiTzion. After completing a year and a half of learning programs in Israel, Michal went on to pursue a B.A. in Jewish Studies and History. At the same time, she taught Jewish History and Hebrew to high school students at Beth Rivkah Ladies College. After making aliya in 2009, Michal began studying for her Masters in Bible at MATAN and Bar-Ilan University. She is currently writing her Ph.D thesis on ‘Married Couples in the Biblical Narrative’. Michal lives in Modi’in with her husband and two daughters. She is the JconnecT educator for JETS and also teaches other classes.
